A motorcyclist from Hampshire has been disqualified from driving for 12 months after being caught speeding at 152mph, reports the Daily Mail.
The incident happened on the A27 in West Sussex in October 2011, and at the time was the fastest speed ever recorded in the UK on a speed camera.
According to the Daily Mail, the 37-year-old appeared in Worthing Magistrates' Court charged with dangerous driving, speeding and driving without a valid test certificate. In addition to the driving ban, the judge also sentenced him to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work, and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £620.
