A man from the West Midlands has been sentenced after he was caught speeding at 180mph on the M6, reports the BBC.
The 33-year-old was driving a stolen Audi RS5, and was chased for around 65 miles by police. He was reportedly travelling so fast he almost outpaced the police helicopter that was tracking him.
According to the BBC, he was found guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court of dangerous driving and burglary offences. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and was also banned from driving for four years.
